Tucked away in the industrial Gepp Parade overlooking the Prince of Wales Bay in southern Tasmania, The Old Shop Yard is a maritime lovers treasure chest.

The vintage shop salvages, refurbishes, and sells maritime antiques from retired ships along with homegoods such as handmade linens and candles.

This juxtaposition of old and new informed our brand identity choices.

The typeface used in the logo is a humanist serif, with rough, ‘imperfect’ edges. This works well to present The Old Shop Yard - a beautiful shop that sells unique, salvaged marine antiques as well as on trend homewares.

Hand drawn nautical illustrations complement the brand, and are versatile for use digitally as well as in print on shop windows and gift vouchers.
